Ed Shaw Entertainment is an independent, hands on Pacific Northwest based Entertertainment Agency and Production firm that has consistently provided superior hands-on service and quality at multiple levels for clients of all shapes and sizes, including but not limited to: festivals, brides & grooms, private parties, municipalities, professional sporting events, non-profit companies, corporations, military, resorts, cruise ships, casinos and more... Don't agencies just try to get as much money as they can for the Entertainers that they represent? NO. Its a quite common myth that avoiding an agent will save money, and it as led to many unfortunate outcomes in which clients have gone to unnecessary lengths to bypass or avoid agencies and / or scrape for entertainers that are independent / without representation, only to later to find out why. The fact of the matter is that if you have budget and are serious about securing quality entertainment , using a professional agent will maximize the value of your budget and save time, money and headaches. What is your philosophy on sales and business ethics? When we receive inquiries for talent or production services, from new or preferred clients, we employ a protocol that allows us to evaluate the clients needs & demand. We then present options accordingly. A large, quality talent roster allows us to present more precise matching to our clients needs. We are not purveyors of fitting round pegs in square holes. If we do not have what we feel is required for your event, theme or party (and this is rare), we would rather decline or refer you to another provider that does. Quotes and avails are always subject to change until dates are confirmed. In some cases we will place courtesy holds on gear, services, talent for preferred/repeat clients. Our sales philosophy is based on having and working with a quality clientel. We require that our clients reciprocate the integrity, honesty and forthrightness that is our company's trademark. Although we will employ general due diligence, ESE does not engage in aggressive cold calling, coersion, wining & dining, spam fax or email, quote loading, or any other generally annoying, shady or deceptive behavior or sales tactics. We would rather spend our time & resources in developing our industry and existing relationships. Can you really do everything that you say you can? Yes. See our partial client list on the home page. ESE is a home-spun, stripped down, no-nonsense firm with low overhead and a track record of over 3500 successfully executed engagements since 2003. A high volume of engagements and a large talent roster allow us to keep pricing competetive, accomodate client needs, and adapt to a constantly evolving marketplace. Do you work with other Agents & 3rd Party Event Planners? We enjoy working with professional, 3rd Party Event Planners and Agents, and are respectful of thier relationships with end clients. We do not back-door, directly solicit, or engage in any otherwise rediculous, unstable & unethical behavior. We require the same from any Event Planner or Agent that we work with. If we are ever given indication to the contrary, all business dealings are immediately terminated. Professional Agents and Event Planners know the code of ethics as it relates to our industry.
