You will see live adaptations of the greatest pioneers in Rock history such as a 22 year old guitar hero named Buddy Holly, teen Idol Ricky Nelson, the sibling harmonies of the Everly Brothers, the pumping piano antics of Jerry Lee Lewis, America's sweetheart Connie Francis, and a young Elvis Presley making his television debut on the Dorsey Brothers Stage Show. This was the music that changed history. Of course some of these names have been forgotten throughout the years, and if you are young, chances are you may not remember the Ed Sullivan Show, Ozzie & Harriet, or when the gas prices were only 10 cents a gallon. But like anything that remains good in history, you will remember the music in this show, whether you are young, or ....well, "were there". Although the 1950s offered so much great and influential music, the selection of these characters featured in Rock n Roll Riot are based on the familiarity they have endured with the general public for so long, and mainly because all of these acts are portrayed by the same three people! Amazing as it sounds, some of the most popular and legendary Rock & Roll pioneers are not only recognized by this show, but are brought to life by a small, multi-talented cast that deliver show stopping performances based on authenticity and youth. That's right, the band and artists are all young, reflecting their characters in their prime. Rock n Roll Riot's creators were motivated to create this stunningly authentic production to not only give their characters the world-class & proper presentation they deserve, with original sound and feel to the music, but to also demonstrate to audiences the initial impact of the music, and style had in history during the 1950s. Everything is 100% Live. There are no tracks or pre-recorded vocals, Rock n Roll Riot is live. Not only does this show beast an original style and a young cast, but the band is just as youthful with non-stop choreography and irresistable talent. You will not see one eyesore of contemporary production gear. What you will see are chrome microphone stands, vintage amplifiers, classic microphones and set designs inspired by props from programs like the Ed Sullivan Show and Shindig. The instruments themselves have a warm tone just like the original records, with a vintage drum kit, a Rockabilly stand up bass, a growling tenor sax and a stinging hollow body guitar. Where some bands are in the shadows during production-based shows, this band is the show. This act however is not primitive, and strikes a modern chord....there is fantastic crowd interaction, video/multimedia presentation and two singer/dancers with terrific period style costumes that add the correct amount of production, while still remaining true to the era. For audiences young and old, Rock& Roll Riot is a an absoloutely remarkable live production of pop history. There will be songs you remember, and there will be songs you hear and wonder why they aren't played on the radio anymore. This show entertains on a the basis that you are there in the 50s. The music is new, and you are an audience member in another time. When
