Performing together in several different line-ups, guitarist/vocalist Rick Lillemon, bassist/vocalist Patrick Keogh and drummer/vocalist Chris Rieser decided to utilize their talents together in their own band. Out of the gate; THE NERVE landed the house job at Spokane downtown nightclub TRICK SHOT DIXIE. Several regional festivals, including “Pig Out in the Park” and the “Sandpoint Music Festival” followed suite by requesting performances from the trio.

Rick Lillemon and Patrick Keogh have been performing together since the 80’s. After Patrick left Scotland to live in the United States to become a performer and after years on the road, opening for most every pop/rock act between Kentucky and the Pacific Northwest; they settled in the Seattle area to become backing musicians for commercial recording ventures, then on to Spokane where they later became the rhythm sections for the house bands at The Stockyards and Pepperdine Sports Bar.

Chris Rieser has been working professionally since 1969. This Muscle Shoals, Alabama native brings with him a long list of experiences. The 70's were filled with a variety of musical endeavors during which time he was involved in the demo sessions for one of Motown’s most famous acts, The Temptations. Those demo sessions resulted in “Standing on Shaky Ground”. Later on, sessions at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios; Rick Hall’s FAME Recording Studios, the Motown Muscle Shoals Division- Wishbone Recording Studios and Warner Brothers Nashville lead to performing commercial jingle work for Budweiser, Wrigley's, Fox Television, Ice Capades, Zip Trip, Regis and Kathy Lee, Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, PBS and the CBS national television theme
“The Address is CBS, Welcome Home ” with CMTV artist Neal McCoy.

Most recently, you can find his voice or drumming talent on the theme songs for the Coeur d’Alene Casino, the Dallas Cowboys Promotional song & video, the Country Music Awards Show (The CMA’s) on CBS and The Academy Awards Show (The Oscars) Year 2000. From 1993 through 2007 he has had several successful local acts including Cavanaugh’s River Inn’s house band “Loose Endz” and Pepperdine Sports Bar’s house band “Little Voice”. His acoustic act performed steadily at Shenanigan’s Seafood and Chop Restaurant, the Davenport Hotel’s Peacock Room Lounge and Prospector’s Bar & Grill until 18 months ago when “The Nerve” was asked to be the house band at Spokane’s largest downtown night club Trick Shot Dixie.
