Bobby Medina & the Red Hot Band is a high energy, distinctively costumed Las Vegas style show and theme band. In addition to a vast repertoire that ranges from Big Band Swing to fiery Latin numbers and popular music (including Motown hits, Sinatra, pop, reggae, oldies, disco, r&b, zydeco and salsa), the show also features impersonations, humor and considerable audience interaction. With custom red jackets (many other attire options available), leader Bobby Medina in distinctive 1940’s Zoot Suit attire, and female vocalist also in 1940’s style finery, the band has high visual impact as well. Trumpeter/singer/entertainer Bobby Medina has been featured on national and world tours with the legendary Ray Charles and has also been heard behind such stellar artists as Mel Torme, Bobby Vinton, The Four Tops, The Spinners, The Coasters, Martha & the Vandellas and Chubby Checker. The Red Hot Band is comprised of some of the most highly accomplished musicians in the Northwest. The musicians perform on a wide variety of musical instruments including guitar, piano, bass, drums, flutes, saxophones, and percussion instruments from around the globe. This, coupled with their strong lead and background vocal harmonies, transcends many musical styles appealing to a diverse audience. This unique group maintains one of the busiest schedules in the Northwest and has quickly positioned itself as one of the premier show bands in the region. Their popularity is due to their dynamic performance and the capability of playing exceptional music for everyone. Their own special brand of creating a good time gets everybody up and on their feet .
